Meeting & Event Summary

The Whitehaven Garden & Social Club proudly hosted our 2026 Spring Garden Party & Juneteenth Celebration, bringing together members, neighbors, community partners, and local leaders for an afternoon of fellowship, celebration, and community engagement.

We were grateful for the outstanding turnout and sincerely thank everyone who attended and helped make the event a success. The celebration reflected our organization's commitment to building a stronger, safer, and more beautiful Whitehaven through meaningful community connections.

We were honored to welcome several special guests, including Memphis City Councilwoman Pearl Walker, City Planner Justin Harris, Magistrate Shayla Purifoy, Judge Taylor Bachelor, and judicial candidate Jaharl Dowdy. Each took time to meet with attendees, share information about their work and public service, and engage with members of the community.

Guests enjoyed great food, fellowship, and the opportunity to learn more about the Whitehaven Garden & Social Club's accomplishments, ongoing beautification efforts, and future initiatives. The event also provided residents with an opportunity to connect with local leaders and learn more about issues affecting our community.
